I live in the Chicagoland area and work in the Information Technology field. I have been taking digital pictures for almost 10 years, but have only recently started to move past snapshots to something more... deliberate. My photoblog is a timeline of the past 10 years. I post what I like from the time it was taken. With better equipment, better photography skills, and better post-processing techniques, the photography has gotten better (right?). Still, I am destined to be a club photographer. My goal is to keep getting better, help to archive the digital memories of my life, and some day pass the hobby on to my son. If I accomplish all of that, I will be more than pleased.

My favorite part of photography is making something interesting out of the ordinary. I take a lot of pictures. Some turn out better than others.

I have a NEW Digital SLR. It is a Nikon D80. Quite a step up over my Canon SD450. Many of the older pictures were taken on my original digital Canon SD100 which I purchased in 1998. One picture was taken with the horrible camera on my Treo 650.
